To the Proud People of Punjab, Esteemed Leaders, and the Global Sikh Sangat,We are writing this petition at a critical crossroads for the state of Punjab. A sacred line has been crossed, demanding collective outrage, action, and accountability. Recent investigative revelations by law enforcement have uncovered a deep-seated conspiracy at the highest level of the state government. We demand the immediate resignation of Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Mann. We call upon all Punjab political leaders, across party lines, and the global Sikh community to support and sign this petition.The Core Issues: Sacrilege and State-Sponsored DeceptionThis petition is founded on two grave violations that make Shri Bhagwant Mann morally and legally unfit to continue holding the constitutional office of Chief Minister:The Sacrilege and Disrespect to Holy Gurus: A highly objectionable viral video surfaced showing a individual in an unpardonable act of disrespect alongside sacred images of the Sikh Gurus. This act has cut deep into the religious fabric of Punjab, severely hurting the spiritual sentiments of millions of Nanak Naam Leva Sikhs worldwide. The apex religious body, the Akal Takht Sahib, has already declared Bhagwant Mann "Guru-Drohi" (traitor to the Guru) and "Khalsa Panth Virodhi" (anti-Sikh Panth). A person deemed a betrayer of the Panth cannot be allowed to lead the land of the Gurus.Fabrication of Forensic Reports and State Cover-Up: Rather than subjecting the video to a transparent, independent investigation, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government actively manipulated state machinery to suppress the truth. The Punjab government initially presented a forensic report claiming the video was doctored. However, an independent probe conducted by the Gurugram Police exposed this defense as completely fraudulent. The police arrested individuals involved in an illicit racket to manufacture a fabricated, fake forensic report to shield the Chief Minister.Using state power to forge documents and mislead the public to conceal an act of religious sacrilege is a subversion of law and democracy.

Proposed Solution

As voiced clearly by Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, the Sikh community and the citizens of Punjab will not accept systemic cover-ups. We put forward two non-negotiable demands:Immediate Resignation: Shri Bhagwant Mann must immediately step down from the post of Chief Minister of Punjab. He has lost the moral authority to govern.Criminal Prosecution: A comprehensive criminal investigation must be launched, and the first First Information Report (FIR) under Punjab’s strict Anti-Sacrilege Law must be registered directly against Bhagwant Mann for his involvement and the subsequent state cover-up.An Appeal to Punjab Leaders and the Sikh CommunityThis is no longer an issue of partisan politics; it is a question of preserving our character, defending our faith, and upholding absolute institutional integrity.To the Leaders of Punjab: We appeal to all elected representatives, community leaders, and political figures across Punjab to rise above party lines. Silence at this hour equals complicity. Stand with the people, protect the dignity of our state, and demand accountability.To the Global Sikh Sangat: Our history teaches us never to tolerate Beadabi (sacrilege) or the abuse of power.
